The control system functioning valve power

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. The valve capacity is provided on the models 1993 and 1994 Vol. system consists of a power valve placed inside the intake manifold), the actuator solenoid valve uparvleniya and PCM. The valve controls the direction of the power supply of the intake air flow. At low engine speeds produced by the intake manifold negative pressure acts on the valve actuator power, which leads to overlapping of the latter, wherein the air sucked into the engine moves along a longer path, which increases the engine torque at low engine speeds. Upon reaching a certain engine speed values PCM disables the supply solenoid valve control, which leads to a violation of the tightness of the actuator and valve closing capacity. The air sucked into the engine starts at a shortest path, which increases the efficiency of return of the power unit at high speed.
2. In order to check the functioning of the system, start the engine and several lift frequency of rotation up to 3000 rev / min, watching the reaction of the actuator valve power. The rod actuator when changing revolutions should accordingly extends or retracts, otherwise stop the engine, proceed to the next stage of testing.
3. Check the condition of the vacuum hoses coming from the source to the vacuum actuator valve power. Check the tightness of the vacuum tank. . sure. With the one-way valve allows the air in one direction only.
4. Disconnect the wiring from the control solenoid valve functioning power. Turn on the ignition and measure with a voltmeter make sure there is battery voltage at terminal white and blue wire harness connector. If no voltage, check the wiring on the circuit between the connector and mounting fuse block. Check for broken orange wire from the connector to the PCM.
5. Disconnect the unions control solenoid valve vacuum line. When equipped with a pair of fuse wire-jumper submit pressure from the battery directly to the two terminals of the solenoid valve, - should hand clearly audible click, and the air should begin to take place freely between the two fittings of the assembly. Disconnect the jumper wire - pass should closed. A faulty solenoid control valve must be replaced.
6. Remove the vacuum hose from the valve actuator power and connect a hand vacuum pump. Create a vacuum actuator, the pusher must shift by providing a complete sealing assembly, otherwise replace the actuator.
7. If in the course of inspections failed to reveal any abnormalities, the car should be driven away on a car repair shop for carrying out a detailed diagnosis of the condition and performance of PCM corresponding regenerative repair.
