Check and adjustment of turns of idling (engine with fuel injection)
1. Self-checking and adjusting the idle speed permitted on engines after 1990, equipped with direct injection. Connect the tachometer according to the manufacturer's instructions. Before adjusting turn off all units of the fuel system, providing automatic adjustment of idling (Ch. 4 and 6). a). On engines V6 disconnect the connector of the air bypass valve AAS- (photo). On engines K24 disconnect the connector from the steering angle sensor throttle. b). Check the ignition (See below.) at). Rotating the screw, set the idle speed (see photo). g). Attach connectors and bring to 2000 revolutions / minute soak engine in this mode for a few minutes. d). If the engine is still unstable idling, check and adjust the quality of the mixture (SO) in service of car-care center.
