Transmission Fluid Replacement! in automatic transmission



1. Take a short trip (15-20 minutes) to warm the fluid to operating temperature.
2. Prepare a recommended fluid grade.
3. Prepare a tray capacity necessary for receiving fluid, cloth and stand.
4. Lift the car and establish on supports.
5. Remove the rear and side bolts of the transmission oil pan (working gloves).
6. Remove the front bolts 4 turns.
7. Carefully pry out and slide the tray, pour the liquid into a vessel without a loss.
8. Remove the remaining bolts and remove the pan, remove the remains of the seal.
9. Clean the pan from the remnants of the seal material.
10. Apply sealant to new gasket from the crankcase plane.
11. Lubricate the gaskets sealing the other side of the gasket and tighten the bolts evenly with a given moment.
12. Lower the car. Pour the liquid in an amount equal to the fusion.
13. Move the lever to position P and the handbrake turn. Start the engine and set to idle.
14. Translate the selector in all positions and check the fluid level, top up if necessary (See above.)
15. Take a short ride and check for leaks.
