Check the propeller shaft
1. Raise the rear of the car and establish on supports. 2. Check the shaft cracks and dents. If you notice any damage, replace the shaft. 3. Check for leaks from under the seals OSS and rear axle. 4. Turn wheel, check noise and play in the universal joint. 5. To check the backlash in the joints rotate the shaft at a fixed wheel or. rock the shaft in the transverse direction. Any backlash indicates the universal joints for wear.

6. Check the tightness of bolts flange driveshaft. 7. Similarly, check the condition of the front hinge shaft (vehicles 4x4). 8. Make sure there are no leaks gland transfer case. 9. Check the condition of constant velocity joints, stuffing box covers, and the semi-axes (photo), the state covers clamps. Leak on the pen afternoon reducer indicates damage to the inner gland and flow around the wheel - to damage the oil seal front hub.
