Check liquid level

1. Before inspection, set the vehicle on level ground.
Engine oil
2. The oil level is checked probe (photo).
3. The oil level is checked before driving a car, or after about 15 minutes after stopping the engine.

1. Normal level
2. Type A
3. Type B
4. On engines V6
5. On 4-cylinder engines

4.4b On 4-cylinder engines with 8 candles probe is located at the left rear of the engine

4.4v on engines V6 probe is located in the rear of the engine next to the brake booster

4. Remove the probe from the control tube and wipe it with a clean cloth or paper towel. Insert a blank probe fully into the pipe and then remove. The level should be between the L (low) and H (high).
5. Maintain the oil level is only between those marks.
6. The oil is filled through the neck of the cylinder head cover (see photo).

7. Carefully check the condition of the oil on the dipstick. Emulsion pollution may be caused by cracks in the block or in the cylinder head, as well as the destruction of the gasket, so it is necessary to check the condition of the engine.
Coolant
8. All cars are covered in this manual have the cooling system of a pressurized fluid to the return to the expansion tank (see photo).
9. On the cold engine level should be between the "MIN 'and' MAX 'on the expansion tank on the hot engine level may be close to the mark" MAX. "If you need to restore the level, then wait for the cooling of the engine, remove the expansion tank cap and add fluid required the composition of the antifreeze / water (50/50 recommended).
10. After a trip, check the level again.

11. The need for frequent topping up indicates a violation of the integrity of the system. Check on the radiator, hoses and plug connections traces of leaks in the form of spots or moisture. If obvious signs of a leak is detected, it is recommended to check the radiator cap, and the tightness of the entire system by crimping (applying pressure) at a workshop.
12. The plug neck of the radiator to turn on only the engine has cooled down.
13. Upon detection of traces of contamination flush the system and replace the fluid.
The liquid in the washer tank.
14. Windscreen is located in the engine compartment on the driver side (see photo).
15. In temperate climates in the washer reservoir is filled with clean water for about 2/3 of a tank. In cold climates, the liquid is poured a special composition.
16. In order to prevent fogging in cold weather, warm up before turning the flushing system of defrosting the glass nozzle heater.
Check the electrolyte level
17. New cars are equipped with a transparent body panels in which the electrolyte level is visible through the body (photo). If necessary, add distilled water.
Restore the fluid level in hydraulic brake and clutch
18. The brake master cylinder and reservoir mounted on the servo inside the engine compartment. Clutch master cylinder is mounted on the bulkhead.
19. The fluid level must be between the min and max on the tank (photo).
20. In tank top up the brake fluid is only recommended brand, blending liquids of different brands is not allowed.

Attention!
Brake fluid is harmful to the eye and destroys the paint, so be careful pouring liquid. Brake fluid absorbs moisture from the air, why not fill the brake fluid, which was a long time in an open container. Excess moisture leads to a dangerous loss of braking efficiency.

21. When a contaminated liquid should be drained and replaced.
22. After restore the tank stopper tight wrap.

4.19a The level of brake fluid in the reservoir must be at the upper mark
4.19a The level of brake fluid in the reservoir must be at the upper mark

23. During normal operation the liquid level gradually decreases as the brake pads wear. If you need to frequently add brake fluid in a hydraulic system has a leak that should be repaired immediately.
24. If the reservoir level is below normal, it is necessary to remove air from the hydraulic circuit.
