Distributor cap and rotor slider - checking and replacement.
Attention! Distributor cap is recommended to change along with candles. |
| 44.1 Screws distributor cap |
1. Disconnect the ignition coil, unscrew the screws (or disconnect the latch) and remove the cover (see photo). Gently pull the cover to the side. 2. Check the condition of the thumb (see photo). If you find any defects, replace the slider, why remove it from the rotor (or unscrew the bolt), and install a new one (see photo).

3. Check the condition of the wires embedded in the distributor switch. 4. Inspect the cover, check the inside of the cracks, traces of the breakdown (thin burnt, tracks), as well as wear and tear, burning and reducing contacts (photo) .If detected any signs of questionable condition, replace the cover.
