Exhaust system check

1. The test is performed on a cold engine
(after at least three hours after a stop). Check with the state of all parts of the exhaust system from the engine and the silencer to the tip section.
2. Check on the pipes and connections for corrosion, mechanical damage, presence of leak
exhaust gases. Check the strength of fastening systems and components in the normal state of brackets.
3. At the same time check the condition of the bottom of the car, check for corrosion, through-holes, the dispersed seams, through which the exhaust gas may fall into the interior of the vehicle. Seal all through holes in the bottom of a body of silicone putty.
4 Stookey and other noises can often be caused by parts of the exhaust system, especially in the areas of attachment. Shake pipes, mufflers, catalytic converter.
If these items come into contact with the items suspension replace fasteners.
