1. When checking the ignition angle setting refer to the data in the table, fortified with the inside side of the hood.
2. At the 4-cylinder engine ignition timing is checked by the reconciliation of the mark on the crankshaft pulley with the division of the scale mounted on the pulley (photo) mark 0 corresponds to the TDC.
3. Designate a mark on the pulley bright paint
4. On the V6 engine ignition timing range is checked to reconcile with the division of the fixed pointer on the scale deposited on the Idler Pulley (photo).
5. Check idle speed, adjust if necessary. Connect the strobe in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
6. Warm up the engine, stop and unplug appliances that are specified in the engine compartment of the motor nameplate for
7. Connect according to the instructions from the strobe facturer.
8. Start the engine, 2-3 times press on the gas pedal and turn to idle.
9. Aim the strobe light on the crankshaft pulley shines on the mark must be next to the appropriate division of the scale.

45.11 Setting the ignition timing 1. Increase 2. Decrease angle

10. If necessary, adjust the release adjusting bolts distributor.
11. To install the ignition, turn the distributor housing to align the mark with the required scale division (photo). Tighten the bolts and recheck the installation of ignition.
12. Remove the timing light and check the idle speed, adjust if necessary.
13. If you listen to calls when traveling knocking while driving uphill or accelerating, then reconnect the strobe and reduce the lead angle of 1 -2 ?.
