Check and adjustment of preliminary loading of bearings

A warning

To adjust the preload using the special tool.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Measure the preload output gear and pick a suitable shim (s) as follows:

- Align the housing bearing using the guide bolts as shown in the figure;
- Press fit into the housing bearing using a special tool;
- Remove the guide pins and install the mounting bolts of the housing;

The inhaling moment: 10,8-13,7 N ??? m

- Set the converter housing on special tool (bracket for transmission);
- Remove the bearing ring and shims from the bearing housing using a punch and a hammer;
- Set the output gear in the converter housing;

A warning

Choose the gap (arrow) by turning the selector.

- Set the ring of the bearing, previously deleted, bearing and place the special tool on the output gear;
- Place the four special tools on the casing in a location indicated in the figure;
- Place the bearing housing on the special tool (intermediate ring) and install four special tool (bolts). Tighten the bolts to the required torque;

Torque: 19-25 N ??? m

A warning

The following steps are necessary for the bearings.

- Turn the special tool (selector) with a special tool (straps) to increase the gap (arrow) as long as it will no longer be rotated;
- Turn the selector is in the reverse direction as long as there is no pre-selected load (the gap will be reduced);
- Install special tool and a dynamometer, or a wrench to control the torque to the output gear;
- Adjust the clearance of the special tool (selector) to obtain the specified preload (reference scale dynamometer);

Preload: 0,49-0,48 N ??? m
Reading scale dynamometer: 0.5-0.9 kg

A warning

Reads the value of the pre-load at the beginning of turning the output gear.

Measure the gap over the entire circumference and match shims according to the maximum size of the gap.

The maximum number of pads is seven.

- Measure the clearance between the parts A and B of the selector. Pick shims in accordance with the size of the gap;
Thickness of shims in mm: 0.10, 0.12, 0.14, 0.16, 0.18, 0.20, 0.50
- Remove the bearing housing and special tools;
- Set the required shims and Press fit bearing ring into the housing using a special tool;
- Install the bearing housing;

Torque: 19-25 N ??? m

- Ensure that the pre-load / value scale dynamometer are within the required values. Otherwise, repeat the adjustment;

Preload: 0,49-0,48 N ??? m
Reading scale dynamometer: 0.5-0.9 kg

- Remove the bearing housing and the output gear assembly.

A warning

For checking and adjusting the preload using the special tool.

2. Measure the preload of the differential side gear and pick a suitable shim (s) as follows.
- Remove the bearing ring and shims to the transmission housing;
- Set the ring of the bearing in the housing using a suitable transducer tube;
- Install the differential assembly into the housing converter;

A warning

Choose the gap (arrow) rotation of the A or B selector.

- Set the ring of the bearing, remote earlier, a special tool and place it on the differential assembly;

A warning

Screw bolts in the positions indicated in the figure below.

- Place the six special tool in the places indicated in the figure;
- Place the gearbox housing on special instruments (intermediate ring);
- Tighten the special tool (bolts) to the specified torque;

Torque: 38-51 N ??? m

A warning

The following steps are necessary for the bearings.

- Turn the special tool (selector) using a special tool (bar) to increase the gap (arrow) as long as it will no longer be rotated;
- Turn the selector is in the reverse direction as long as there is no pre-selected load (the gap will be reduced);
- Insert the special tool through the hole of the oil seal gearbox housing until it touches the gear shaft;
- Install special tool and a dynamometer, or a wrench with torque control on the special tool;

A warning

Reads the value of the pre-load at the beginning of turning the output gear.

- Adjust the clearance of the special tool (selector) to obtain the specified preload (reference scale dynamometer);
Preload: 0.49 N ??? m
Reading on a dynamometer scale: 0.5 kg

- Measure the clearance between the parts A and B of the selector;
- Add 0.3 mm to the measured value of the gap and pick up one or more shims, for a total thickness of the most appropriate to the measured value;

A warning

Measure the gap over the entire circumference.

The maximum number of pads is three.

- Remove the gearbox housing and a special tool;
- Set the required shims and hammer ring of the bearing in the housing;
- Set the transmission casing;

The thickness of the shims mm: 0.10, 0.12, 0.14, 0.16, 0.18, 0.20, 0.50, 0.70, 1.00

Torque: 38-51 N ??? m

- Make sure that the preload is within the specified values, otherwise repeat the adjustment;

Preload: 3,0-3,9 N ??? m
Reading scale dynamometer: 30-39 H

- Remove the gearbox housing.
