Self-diagnostic system

The control unit has a power train of a vehicle protection system of the engine, which is triggered in the event of failure of any device on the inlet or outlet. It has three purposes: a self-test, fault tolerance and fault diagnosis display code.

The control unit also has a function of PCM control device to aid in the evaluation of the characteristics of the individual switches and the heated oxygen sensor. Tester self-test (KJ-1) can be used for reading fault codes from the control unit of power transmission and control of the various switches at the entrance and heated oxygen sensors.

General note

The system of self-diagnosis, which is included in the automatic transmission control unit determines the failure of the primary sensor (input), the solenoid valve (output) and the automatic transmission control unit. Stroke data or remaining functional problems are memorized in the control unit in the automatic transmission as special codes. The device is self-(KJ-1) is used to determine the number of fault codes and allows you to control all switches.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Connect the special tool to the control unit connector or powertrain diagnostics.
2. Turn on the ignition.
3. Press ?3 selection switch checked.
4. Check each switch.

General Notes

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. If more than one fault is detected, they will be displayed in sequence from the smaller rooms for more.
2. If the terminal is controlled by the diagnostic socket is not grounded, the light transmission retention periodically switched on and off until repaired. The DTC will be recorded in the control unit PTC.
3. The control unit has a function of automatic transmission fault tolerance to protect the throttle position sensor, speed sensor and all solenoids. Failure of one of the other parts will operate at a predetermined fail-safe program. This car will be maintained, although it will influence the effectiveness of the drive.
4. The recorded fault codes are erased when you disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery for more than 20 seconds.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Connect the special tool (KJ-1) with built-in diagnostics.
2. Turn on the ignition.
3. Find the cause of the malfunction in accordance with the diagnostic procedures using a special tool.
