Testing of pressure transmission fluid

Check the transmission fluid pressure is performed in order to determine the condition of hydraulic components and whether there are leaks.

Preparation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Follow the preparation provided in the section "Testing of teamwork of an automatic transmission and the engine for the motionless car"
2. Connect the engine tachometer.
3. Connect gauge OK201 190 AA0 to the union pressure test.

Testing

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Start up the engine.
2. Check the engine speed of the engine idling and the selector position "P".

Specifications:

The frequency of rotation of the crankshaft of the engine idling: 800 ? 50 min -1
Ignition timing (BTDC): 10 ? 1 ? (Contact TEN of a diagnostic socket is earthed)

3. Move the selector lever to position "D" and the pressure gauge to read the pressure.
4. Connect the manometer OK201 190 AA0 to the union pressure test.

A warning

To avoid damage to the gearbox, follow steps 4 and 5 for 5 seconds.

5. The left foot press to lock the brake pedal and the right foot gently press the accelerator pedal.
6. If the engine speed of the engine is no longer increases, the pressure gauge to read the pressure and release the accelerator pedal.

A warning

Engine operation for at least one minute at idling speed transmission fluid cools and prevents deterioration of its properties.

7. With the engine running, move the selector lever to position N and leave the engine running at idle speed for at least one minute.
8. Similarly measure the pressure in all positions of the selector lever.
The nominal values of the pressure in the line:
Position
Line Pressure, kPa
Idling
At a critical velocity
D, S, L
353,16-431,64
873,09-1039,86
R
598,41-941,76
1667.7-201 1.05
9. Screw the new square head plug in the hole for the pressure test nipple.

Torque: 50-100 N ??? m

Evaluation of the test pressure of the transmission fluid

The pressure in line possible cause
Low pressure in all positions Wear oil pump
Leakage of oil from the oil pump, valve housing and / or gearbox housing
Sticking a pressure regulating valve
The fault of the solenoid valve (line pressure)
Jamming pressure modulator valve
Low-pressure only in the positions D and S Oil leaks from the hydraulic system forward clutch
Low pressure only at the positions L and R Oil leaks from the hydraulic brake system for low speed and reverse
Low pressure only at position R Oil leaks from the hydraulic system of the reversing clutch
Pressure above this The fault of the solenoid valve (line pressure)
Sticking a pressure regulating valve
Jamming pressure modulator valve
