Removal of an automatic transmission



Removal steps of an automatic transmission

1 - the storage battery;
2 - support the battery;
3 - duct and the resonance chamber;
4 - the air filter;
5 - the gauge of deceleration and solenoid valve connector;
6 - sensor connector speedometer;
7 - a cable of the selector;
8 - connection with "weight";
9 - the accelerator cable;
10 - oil cooler inlet pipe;
11 - oil cooler outlet pipe;
12 - wheel;
13 - mudguard;
14 - cross;
15 - Front collector;
16 - starter;
17 - a tip of steering draft;
18 - earring of the stabilizer;
19 - drive shaft;
20 - an intermediate shaft;
21 - support of the engine;
22 - prop engine # 2;
23 - prop engine # 1 and pad;
24 - prop engine # 4;
25 - the bottom casing;
26 - a nut (torque converter);
27- gearbox.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Lift the car and fix on support.
3. Install the sump drain plug under the automatic transmission fluid.
4. Remove the plug and drain all the liquid from an automatic transmission.
5. Next remove a transmission in the sequence shown in the figure, based on the following observations.
6. Special adaptation OK201 170 AA0 support the engine so that the engine weight was perceived device.
7. To gain access to the bolts fastening the torque converter, remove the cap. Remove the four screws on the torque converter. To access the bolts consistently turn a crankshaft.
8. Remove the pins, remove the nuts and disconnect the left and right tips of steering drafts from rotary fists.

A warning

Do not damage dustproof covers. Temporarily screw lock nuts to prevent damage to the thread. Do not reuse the cotter pin.


9. Remove the coupling bolt, mount wring out the bottom lever downwards and separate a pin joint from the steering knuckle on both sides of the car.
10. Remove the nuts of the engine mounts.
11. Remove the bolts and nuts and remove a plate of protection of the engine.
12. Remove the stabilizer and earrings stabilizer bar.
13. Insert mount between an internal SHRUS drive shaft and a transmission and easy blow on mount take a power shaft from a transmission.

A warning

Do not damage the ball joint dust cover.


14. Install the drive shaft instead of a special plug OK201 270 014 in order not to disturb the adjustment of the differential side gears.

A warning

If a special tool is not set, the side gears of the differential can be displaced relative to one another.


15. Lean the engine to the transmission through the release of a special tool (with hook-bolt head for supporting the engine).

A warning

Do not let fall a transmission from the stand.


16. Rack Support transmission.
17. Turn out bolts of fastening of a transmission.
18. Carefully separate the transmission from the engine and slowly lower it under the car.
