Testing time lag

While the engine is idling at a frequency when the lever movement to select the neutral position before the operation is felt, should take place in real time. Testing time delay - a checking of N-D, 1-2, and N-R battery, the forward clutch and single-loop, clutches, brake tape 2-4 gear shift and brake for low-speed and reverse.

Preparation

Follow the training provided in the section "Testing of teamwork of an automatic transmission and the engine for the motionless car"

Testing

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Start up the engine.
2. Check the engine speed of the engine idling.

Specifications:

The frequency of rotation of the crankshaft of the engine idling: 800 ? 50 min -1
Ignition timing (BTDC): 10 ? 1 ? (Contact TEN of a diagnostic socket is earthed)

3. Move the selector lever from the position "N" to the position "D" .Sekundomerom measure the time from the moment the lever to trigger transmission.
4. Stopwatch to measure the time from the lever to trigger transmission.

A warning

Engine operation for at least one minute at idling speed transmission fluid cools and prevents deterioration of its properties.

5. With the engine running, move the selector lever to position N and leave the engine running at idle speed for at least one minute.

A warning

Perform three tests on each mode, and calculate the average value of the time delay.

6. Similarly swipe tests when moving the selector lever in the following positions:

a. at position N> D;
b. at position N> D (hold mode of transmission);
c. at position N> R

Time delay:
position N> D 0,5-1,0 with
position N> R 0,5-1,0 with

Evaluation test for the delay time
