Repair of the selector lever



Lever

1 - a socket;
2 - screws;
3 - head of the selector lever;
4 - a casing;
5 - Display Panel;
6 - position indicator lamp;
7 - cam;
8 - the roller clamp assembly;
9 - auxiliary plate;
10 - elastic plate, top;
11 - elastic plate;
12 - pin;
13 - Roller latch;
14 - axis;
15 - a nut;
16 - the selector lever;
17 - guide plate;
18 - an arm of the selector lever.

Dismantling, check and assemblage

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disassemble the selector lever in the sequence shown in the figure.
2. Insert a thin piece of metal from the connector contacts and squeeze down the pin for fixing them.
3. Pull the pin from the connector.
4. Check the details and, if necessary, repair or replace them.
5. The assembly is carried out in sequence, return dismantling.
6. Apply grease to the inside of the clamp and install it on the elastic plate.
7. Move the selector lever to R.
8. Set the free state elastic plate, a top plate and a resilient supporting plate.
9. Adjust the gap between the guide plate and the guide pin and tighten the screws.

Tightening torque: 2.0-2.9 N ??? m

10. Establish in a free state on the cam follower.


A warning

Clearance is reduced by turning the cam clockwise.


11. Adjust the gap between the guide plate and the guide pin by turning the cam.
12. Establish a head of the selector lever and make sure the gap is the specified value.
13. Otherwise, the assembly again from step 2.
14. Remove a head selector lever
15. Apply grease to the cam, as shown in Fig.
16. Move the selector lever to R.
17. Align the screw holes in the slider in the display panel. Install the thick wire to support the slider.
18. Temporarily install the display panel bracket to the selector lever.
19. Tighten the screws of the display panel in the order shown in the figure.

Tightening torque: 2.0-2.9 N ??? m

20. Remove the wire.
21. Make sure that the selector lever position corresponds to the display panel in each position.
