The accelerator cable

Checking full throttle

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Turn off the engine.
2. Turn the hand throttle lever to check the full throttle when the accelerator pedal is fully depressed.
3. If the throttle valve does not open fully, adjust the damper control cable.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Turn off the engine.
2. Remove the mounting pin cable to the throttle lever.
3. Pull the pin in the direction of extension cable (direction R) with a force of less than 1.96 N (0.2 kg), and stop for a moment when you feel the tension, and then apply the label to the marker at the end of the outer cable sheath.

A warning

What is meant by the tension? Pulling the rope loose, the throttle cam, mounted on the valve body with the inner side ACP begins to move. This movement of the cam will be sent to you in the form of tension, and at this point should stop pulling the rope.

4. Connect the cable to pin the throttle lever.
5. Check if the label on the cable to the end of the outer sheath.
6. If the label does not match, then Get this control cable. It does not ignore the value of a free wheeling.

A = 5 ? 1,0 mm
7. Move the throttle lever arm from fully closed to fully open position and check for any interference of his movement.
8. If you have problems with the work of the ACP, check the line pressure at idle (392.4 kPa), and adjust the throttle cable again.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the adjustment lock (red) throttle cable.
2. Insert the pin in the cable assembly opening the throttle lever.
3. Install the cable bracket (C).
4. Make sure the choke lever is in the position corresponding to completely closed damper.
5. Place the intermediate ring thickness 5 ? 0,1 mm on A freewheel.
6. Rotate the nut (B) to the bracket arm (C) so as to leave no gaps on either end of the intermediate ring.
7. Secure the position of the nut (B) and tighten the nut (A) of the desired torque.

Torque: 11,77-16,68 N ??? m

Thus push the outer sheath of a cable in the direction D in order to prevent displacement of the outer sheath from the bracket S.
8. Move the cable arm from fully open to fully closed to check for interference to move it.
9. Check the distance A = 5 ? 1,0 mm when fully closed throttle.
10. In the event of the required values reassemble the throttle cable again.

A warning

Be careful not to damage the cable and a cable cover (warp or bend).

Adjustment

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Turn the front left ear to failure.
2. Turn off the engine.
3. Check whether the throttle opening when the accelerator pedal is fully depressed. If it is not fully opened, adjust the accelerator cable.
4. Set the outer shell of the cable to the bracket C.
5. Check whether the closed throttle lever.
6. Remove the pads with splash guard left front wheel.
7. Remove the plug L to measure the pressure in the line, as shown in the figure and install oil pressure gauge.
8. Start the engine in position "P" and check the speed of the crankshaft of the engine idling.

The frequency of rotation of the crankshaft of the engine idling 800 min -1

9. When fully closed throttle lever perform the following steps:

- A hand holding the rope for the outer shell, move it in the direction of L to obtain a pressure above the specified value;
- Slowly move the outer sheath of a cable in the R direction and stop at the point at which the pressure curve in the line begins to bend, and then tighten the nut A until it reaches the bracket C.
10. Tighten the nut to the desired torque at a fixed position nut A and said line pressure.

Torque: 11,77-16,68 N ??? m

11. Turn the engine off.
12. Remove the pressure gauge and install a new cap with a square head (MFU60
19 423a), having tightened its demanded torque.

Torque: 4,9-9,8 N ??? m

13. Install the splash shield.

A warning

Avoid excessive movement of the cable in the R direction when the specified pressure in the line. (Do not move it by more than 3 mm from the point bending).

This can lead to the release of internal damage of the wire rope and the automatic transmission.
