Repair damage caused by stones

Regular elimination of minor paint damage is justified, since it is possible to avoid the spread of rust and larger repairs. For small scratches and marks on the stones, which affected only the outer layer of the painting and not penetrated to the bare metal, generally enough to tint the varnish using a pencil. Along with the paint that is applied to a small brush, it is often useful commercially available color film, if only slightly damaged, or when you need only apply the primer.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Deeper damage from being hit by stones when formed small dots of rust, removable "eraser to rust," or scraped with a knife until the bare metal. It is important not to be seen the smallest traces of rust. Under the "eraser to rust" is meant small plastic sleeve, available for vytsarapyvaniya rust of a short wire brush.
  2. Bare metal must be perfectly dry and grease. For this process the repair area and the surrounding paint remover silicone.
  3. Apply to bare metal thin brush a little lacquer primer ("Primer"). Since priming agents often found in aerosols, sprinkle a little primer on the lid of a jar and dipping the brush back.
  4. After drying the layer of soil to produce tint. Banks with a paint brush is usually built into the lid. If there is only aerosol dispenser, sprinkle a little bit of paint on the lid of a jar and dipping to brush for watercolors. At the same time for each working pass to apply only a very thin layer of paint, the paint does not spread. In conclusion, let the paint dry well. The process is repeated to fill the crater and up until the recess becomes invisible repair site relative to the surrounding painted surface.
