Body

Body MAZDA 323 has a supporting structure. The bottom, side panels, fenders and roof are welded together. The windscreen and rear window are glued. Therefore, major repairs and replacement of glass glued can be made only in special workshops.

The hood, trunk lid and doors bolted and can be easily replaced. When installing, be sure to maintain proper clearances, otherwise the door will knock or while driving in the cabin will be increased noise. The air gap must be in any case run parallel and have the same width throughout its length. In this chapter, there are also instructions on using equipment in the domestic interior, such as the removal of seats and upholstery.

Safety precautions when working on the body

When carrying out welding work near the battery pack should always be removed. When disconnecting the battery, be sure to read the instructions in the section Removing and installing the battery.

The components of the system filled the air conditioner should not be held any welding or soldering. This also applies to welding and soldering on the vehicle, if there is a risk of the heating elements of the air conditioner.

The refrigerant circuit of the air conditioner does not have to be opened. Remove protective mastic and bottom seals at repair by rotating a wire brush or a hair dryer to heat the maximum temperature of + 180 ? C and remove the spatula.

When painting a car can heat up to a maximum of 80 ? C, otherwise there is a danger of damage to the electronic control unit.
