Fuel filter

Withdrawal


A warning

Be sure to pay attention to good ventilation of the workplace. Fuel vapors are poisonous, avoid the use of open fire because of the danger of fire!


Fuel filter as viewed in the direction of motion, is located on the underside of the vehicle to the right front of the rear axle.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect from the terminals of the battery ground cable (-).
A warning

This erased anti-theft radio code.


2. Reduce the vapor pressure of the fuel, which briefly open the filler cap of the fuel tank.
3. Remove the protective cover (69), previously having marked its installation position.
4. Remove the clips from the inlet (53) and discharge (52) pipes with standard hose clamps (011). For ease of assembly, label the tubes with adhesive tape.
5. Remove the fuel filter on the banjo bolt (59). Remains of spilled fuel, wipe with a cloth.
6. Remove the filter pressure fuel.
7. Loosen the bolts (arrows) on the holder and remove the fuel filter (55).

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check for damage to the plastic sleeve (56a) or a plastic film (56) and replace if necessary.
2. Install the fuel filter with a plastic sleeve or film. Plastic sleeve have to be installed between the fuel pump and the holder. Pay attention to the fact that it is performed on both sides of the holder. Otherwise, the direct contact with the fuel filter holder can occur contact corrosion of metals. Secure the fuel filter bracket bolts (57/1) (57/3).
3. Screw the fuel hoses. Insert banjo bolt with new copper sealing ring and tighten to 25 Nm
4. Remove hose clamps.
5. Replace the protective cover (69).
6. Connect the battery ground cable (-).
7. Start the engine and the engine running, check the tightness of the connection points.
8. Set the clock.
9. Enter the anti-theft code for the radio.
