Fuel pump



GAS ENGINE


Withdrawal
A warning

Be sure to pay attention to good ventilation of the workplace. Fuel vapors are poisonous, avoid the use of open fire because of the danger of fire!


The fuel pump as viewed in the direction of motion, is located on the underside of the vehicle to the right front of the rear axle.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect from the terminals of the battery ground cable (-).

This erased anti-theft radio code.


2. Reduce the vapor pressure of the fuel for that briefly open the filler cap of the fuel tank.
3. Remove the protective cover (69), noting his pre-assembly position.
4. Remove the clips from the inlet (53) and discharge (52) pipes, as well as the breather hose (66) with standard hose clamps. Label the tubes with adhesive tape for easy installation.
5. Remove the fuel pump pressure line with a banjo bolt. Remains of spilled fuel, wipe with a cloth.
6. Remove the inlet hose after loosening the hose clamp.
7. Remove the protective covering of the floor of the trunk.
8. Remove the protective cover of the well and the cable protective mat.
9. Disconnect shtekkernoe connection to the fuel pump and bring it across the floor of the trunk. To do this, squeeze the rubber grommet.
10. Disconnect the spring clamp on the holder the power cord.
11. Remove the ventilation hose (66), after loosening the hose clamp (66a).
12. Remove the inlet fuel line (53), after loosening the hose clamp (53a).
13. Remove the adapter (57) the bolt (57/1).
14. Remove the fuel pump (M3m1).

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. By means of the guide insert in the fuel pump of the sleeve groove (56a) and its - in the guide holder (57). With this fuel pump is fixed by a plastic sleeve. Plastic sleeve must always be installed between the fuel pump and the holder. At the same time, pay attention to the fact that it is performed on both sides of the holder. Otherwise, when the fuel pump is directly in contact with the holder can occur, contact corrosion of metals.
2. Screw the fuel pump to the bracket.
3. Push the breather hose and secure the clamp.
4. Push the inlet fuel hose and fix its collar.
5. Enter the electrical wire through the bottom of the boot and connect the plug. Seal the hole in the bottom of the trunk of the rubber sleeve.
6. Place insulating mat and protective cover for cable manholes.
7. Install protective cover the bottom of the trunk.
8. Plug the power cord into the spring clips on the bracket and secure using linear fasteners.
9. Screw the fuel by means of hollow bolts with new copper sealing ring (62). Estimated torque 25 Nm
10. Remove the hose clamps.
11. Establish a protective casing.
12. Connect the battery ground cable (-).
13. Set the clock.
14. Enter the anti-theft code for the radio.
