Preheating diesel

To ensure proper flowability of the diesel fuel and thereby prevent clogging fuel lines, filters, particularly intense cold, the fuel is preheated in accordance with the ambient temperature.

Fuel pump sucks the fuel from the tank through the fuel strainer. In this diesel fuel flows directly to the priming pump fuel thermostat, which depending on the temperature of the fuel determines the degree of preheating the fuel.

A - The inlet from the tank
B - The pipeline to the fuel pump
C - The supply line to the heat exchanger
D - The inflow from the heat exchanger
E - Coolant supply
F - Party obeganiya coolant

For preheating Diesel fuel flows from the thermostat through the line feeding diesel fuel (C) to the heat exchanger (148) on the fuel supply line (E) through the drain of diesel fuel (D) again back in the oven, and thence through the fuel pump into the fuel filter.

If the oil temperature is below 18 ? C, the thermostat is fully open and all of the fuel flowing through the heat exchanger. At a temperature of 18 to 30 ? C prevails mixed mode m. E. Fuel partially flows through the heat exchanger and partly directly to the fuel supply pump. At temperatures above 30 ? C the fuel supply to the heat exchanger from the thermostat ceases.

The thermostat is installed outside of the heat exchanger. A - the supply of fuel from the fuel tank, in - the inlet pipe to the fuel pump, E - entry coolant, F - the output of the coolant.

Engines of 2.2 / 2.5 L

Fuel flows through a fuel filter before the heat exchanger, which is screwed into the cylinder head side. In the heat exchanger at the top thermoelement planted, which depending on the temperature of fuel flow directs it entirely or partly through the heat exchanger from 18 ? C to 30 ? C mixed mode over a temperature of 30 ? C - without preheating.
