1. Carefully inspect the headers and their fastening elements, checking the components for cracks, deformation and other mechanical damage. 2. Scrape carbon deposits and traces of the old gasket material from the mating surfaces of the cylinder heads and manifolds. If you have a leak exhaust vote flatness of mating surfaces of the reservoir (use installed on the edge of a steel ruler and feeler blade type). Compare results of measurements to requirements of Specifications, in case of need to give collectors a groove. 3. Put a new gasket on the studs collectors. 4. Install the collectors and screw nuts of attachment. 5. Moving from the center out, in three or four phases evenly tighten fixture with demanded effort. 6. Install the remaining components is made in the reverse order of their removal. Be sure to replace the gaskets when connecting front exhaust pipe exhaust system to the front manifold. 7. Start the engine and check for any signs of leakage of exhaust gases. |
