Removal and installation of the inlet pipeline

Before proceeding to the removal of the inlet pipe should be disconnected from the wiring and hoses listed components.

1 - PCV valve
2 - Vacuum brake booster
3 - valve actuator power
4 - Intake air duct

5 - EGR valve Flare
6 - Assembling the valve IAC / overlap air
7 - TPS / gauge-switch of the closed throttle position
8 - Distributor Cap with explosives wires

Proceed to perform the procedure only after the final cooling of the power unit.

The upper section of the intake duct (plenum)

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Relieve the pressure in the supply system (see chap. The power supply system and release), then disconnect the negative cable from the battery.

If installed on the car stereo is equipped with a security code before to disconnect the battery make sure that have a correct combination for audiosystem input in action!

2. Drain coolant from the radiator and engine block, empty the cooling system (see chap. Adjustment and routine maintenance).
3. Remove the air inlet duct (see chap. The power supply system and release), then remove the rod, hoses and wiring from the throttle body.
4. Disconnect the wires from the explosive spark plugs and liberate them from intermediate clamps on the casing of the pump chamber. Uncover the distributor and move it to the side without disconnecting the wires of explosives.

5. Acting in the reverse order shown in the illustration, loosen the bolts of the top section of the intake pipe. Remove the pumping chamber with attached thereto the throttle body. Disconnect the ground bus, supplied to the bottom of the pump chamber. Moving from the center to the edges, remove the mounting bolts bottom of the camera.

6. Before installing the top section carefully smooth out interfaced surfaces of the pipe, the upper and lower parts of the pumping chamber. Completely removed from the surface traces of the old gasket and sealant, wipe them with a cloth soaked in solvent.
7. Put on the intake manifold studs new gasket, then the lower part of the plant on top of the pump chamber, and moving from the margins to the center, tighten fixing bolts with demanded effort.

8. Put in the lower chamber seal and install the upper part of the chamber. In strict order, tighten the bolts of the upper chamber with the required effort.

The bottom section of the inlet conduit

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove the upper section of the pipeline.
2. Disconnect electroconducting from the gauge-switch coolant temperature, CTS, control solenoid valve functioning power electromagnetic EGR valve and temperature sensor EGR.
3. Mark and disconnect all prevent the dismantling of the lower section of the pipeline vacuum hoses.
4. Remove the fuel line pipe with injectors of injection (see chap. The power supply system and release).

5. Turn out fixing bolts and disconnect from the end facing the transmission pipeline tube cooling path.

6. Working in the reverse order shown in the illustration, in several installments (by 1/4 of a turn for the approach), loosen the screws / nuts of the pipeline.

7. If the pipeline "has become attached" and can not be separate from the cylinder head, it Tap the hammer through a wooden block.

In no case the pipeline to hook the lever under the mating surface.

8. Carefully smooth out interfaced surfaces of the pipe and cylinder heads completely removing them from the traces of the old gasket material and sealant, and then wiped with a cloth soaked in acetone.

9. Before installing new gaskets and pipe, check the condition laid beneath the cooling tubes tract. Install the gaskets and pipe - Ensure proper placement of components on the guide pin. Screw the fixing nuts.

10. In strict order in the three stages of the pipeline Tighten with demanded effort.

Efforts of a tightening of nuts differ from the efforts of a tightening of bolts.

11. The further installation is made in the reverse order of dismantle of components. Do not forget to fill the cooling system and change the engine oil (see chap. Adjustment and routine maintenance).
12. Start the engine and check for any signs of leakage of fuel, coolant and loss of vacuum.
