Removing and installing sump



PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect the negative wire from the battery.

If installed on the car stereo is equipped with a security code before to disconnect the battery make sure that have a correct combination for audiosystem input in action!

2. Poddomkratte car and establish it on props.
3. If appropriate the vehicle, remove the crankcase.
4. Drain the engine oil and remove the oil filter (see chap. Adjustment and routine maintenance).
5. Remove the Y-shaped exhaust pipe exhaust system from the next section behind it (see chap. The power supply system and release).

6. Separate the dome cover from the unit transmission.

7. Post the motor on top using winches or beams.

Take care of reliability of fixing the winch unit.

8. Otboltite front and back support of the power unit of the transverse beams (see. Section Check and replacement of support of a suspension bracket of the power unit).
9. Remove the passing beam under the oil pan.

10. Acting in the reverse order shown in the illustration, remove the bolts of the pallet.

11. Separate the pan from the engine block. If necessary Tap the perimeter of his pop hammer with soft brisk, - in any case do not try to pry "become attached" pallet lever under the mating surface.
12. Clean mating surfaces from the traces of the old gasket material and sealant, and then wipe them with a cloth soaked in acetone.

INSTALLATION

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Make sure of absoluteness of cleanliness of threaded holes in the engine block, - if necessary, drive them tap the appropriate size.
2. Apply RTV sealant seals the ends and put the past in the assembly of the oil pump and the back cover.
3. Apply a continuous cushion RTV sealant to the inside diameter of the sealing surface of the pallet.

Set the pan must be made within five minutes after applying sealant!

4. Push the tray to the mating surface of the engine block, screw fixing bolts and moving in a very specific manner, in four phases evenly tighten them with demanded effort.

5. The further installation is made in the reverse order of dismantle of components.
6. Allow the sealant to dry for about 30 minutes, and then install a new oil filter and fill the unit fresh engine oil. Start the engine and check the pressure of motor oil. Make sure there are no leaks.
