Replacement of a forward epiploon of a cranked shaft



PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove the crankshaft pulley (see. Section Removal and installation of the crankshaft pulley), the front cover and the timing belt (see. Section Removal and installation of the timing belt and timing gears).
2. Gently prying the two big screwdriver or pry bar, remove the trunnion shaft gear - try not to damage the oil pump body.
3. If you remove the wheel by poddevaniya fails, it will have to be drilled in the end face of a pair of holes, cut threads in them, and then use the puller bolt type.

Drilled gear must be replaced!

4. Remove the inner rail belt, - try to remember which way it was set out on a pin shaft, if necessary, apply appropriate marking.

5. Gently prying with a small screwdriver, remove the old seal from its landing nest, - try not to damage the shaft journal.

6. Before installing the oil seal, lubricate the inner wall of a thin layer of universal grease.

7. From the piece of pipe, a large flat washers and long screws fabricate a device for pressing the new oil seal in the seed slot. The outer diameter of the pipe must be equal to or slightly less than the outer diameter of the gland, with sharp edges should be chamfered. Thread should be the same size as the screws on the crankshaft pulley. The puck must be guaranteed to rest against the end face of the mandrel and provide good support for the head of the bolt. Fill the oil seal into the housing slot, then insert the device, screw the bolt into the end of the trunnion shaft and tighten it with the key, press-fit the oil seal. Once the gland abuts the bottom of the slot, tightening bolts should be discontinued.

8. Put on the shaft journal inner rail timing belt (concave side facing outward).
9. Make sure that the key does not fall out of its groove in the pin.
10. Lightly grease the inner surface of universal gear and put him on a pin shaft.
11. Install the remaining components is made in the reverse order of their removal. Procedure adjust the timing belt tension force is given in Section 7. Ensure that all fixture has been tightened with demanded effort.
