Engines DOHC

This part of the chapter is devoted not connected with the extraction of the car (in situ) V6 DOHC engine repair series VQ30DE 3.0 liters used for assembly of models since 1995, vol. A description of all procedures that require the dismantling of the power unit, given in parts Check and replacement of support of a suspension bracket of the power unit of this Chapter.

Descriptions of most of the considered procedures are based on the assumption that the power unit remains on the regular place in the engine compartment of the car. In view of the above, if the engine has already been removed and mounted on a mounting stand or work bench, many of the described steps need to be omitted.
