Cylinder head - set



1. Before installation, thoroughly clean the surface of the detachable head and the cylinder. Scrape carbon deposits and the remains of gasket material, wash solvent.
2. Verify that the split planes of the head and cylinder scuffing, chipping, dents and other damage. Minor damage can be eliminated needle files, if there is serious damage to the head or the block to be reground.
3. Carefully drive out, bolt and bolt holes.
4. Put a new gasket on the engine block, focusing on the pins. Carefully place the head on the block of cylinders, without breaking lining position.
5. Wrap the hand of the cylinder head bolts in place.
6. Tighten the bolts with the set moment in the specified sequence (photo), making 1/4 turn at a time. Tightening specification given in the technical data.
7. Install the camshaft sprocket.
8. The rest of the assembly operations are carried out in reverse order.
9. After completion of the work season with liquid cooling system, start the engine, check for leaks. Check the idle speed, adjust if necessary.

10. Adjust the valve setting clearances for a warm engine.
