Head cover - removal and installation
1. Remove the air filter. 2. Disconnect the spark wire and take aside with the bracket. 3. Disconnect the hose of the vacuum amplifier. 4. Remove the cover bolts (photo). 5. Remove the cover by gently opening the seal. 6. Clean the cover from the remains of the seals.
| 4.9 Tightening the cylinder head cover on the engine KS4: at the 1st stage tighten bolts 1 and 2 with a torque of 3 Nm, then tighten all the bolts to 6,5-9 Nm in this order

7. Apply sealant to the split plane of the cover and the cylinder head, "looking around" sealing bolts on the inside. 8. Place the gasket, cover and tighten the bolts to the specified torque. Tighten the nuts in three or four steps with the set point (see photo). 9. The rest of the procedures are performed in reverse order.
