Oil pump - checking

1. Remove the pump, loosen the bolts and remove the pump cover, remove the pinion (see photo).

2. Remove the cover and take out the details of a pressure reducing valve.

3. Clean the parts.

4. Insert the gear so that the marks on them were addressed to the pump and check all the clearances given in the technical data (see photo).

5. If the gaps are not correct, replace the pump.

6. Check the pressure relief valve, and replace if necessary.
