Overview



This part describes the kinds of works on repair of engines, performed directly on the vehicle. All the operations described below are meant to repair that motor vehicle is not removed.
OHV engines, driven by the camshaft chain. The tension of the chain is regulated by a rubber shoe. On engines installed cylinder head from an aluminum alloy.
The engine Z24 provides 2 spark plugs per cylinder (see photo).
The ignition distributor and oil pump are driven by a single helical gear crank.
The crankshaft is lubricated under pressure. Camshaft and gas distribution mechanism lubricated under pressure and spray.
