The rear oil seal - replacement
1. Seal can be replaced without removing the pallet and the crankshaft. 2. Remove the drivetrain (ch. 7). | 21.4 flywheel and torque converter drive plate 1. Flywheel 2. reinforcement plates |
3. Remove the clutch. 4. Remove the flywheel or the drive plate torque converter. 5. Hook and carefully remove the gland. 6. Check the condition of the sealing neck of the crankshaft. If you notice on the neck of deep development and other defects replace the crankshaft. 7. Coat the oil seal for engine oil, grease working edges of molybdenum grease. 8. Put the oil seal and gently press in with a hammer on the spacer. 9. Install the flywheel or the drive plate torque converter. 10. Establish coupling and a reinforcement plate. 11. Install the transmission.
