Front cover - removal and installation



1. Drain the coolant.
2. Remove the fan and radiator.
3. Drain the oil.
4. Remove the ignition distributor.
5. Remove the oil pump.
6. Remove the coolant pump.
7. Remove the lever to adjust the tension of the alternator belt by undoing the upper bolt of the generator, and then bolt lever.
8. Remove the cover from the front of the vacuum tube and fuel.
9. Remove the air conditioning compressor (if fitted) and take aside, without disconnecting from mains.
10. Remove the power steering pump (if equipped) and move to the side of the pump, disconnect hoses.
11. Remove the coolant inlet.
12. Remove the oil pan.
13. Remove the crankshaft pulley.
14. Remove the screws and remove the front cover, shifting light strikes (photo).
15. Press in the new oil seal.
16. Place the lid gasket and apply sealant to the specified point (photo).
17. Lubricate front chrome ku gland. Replace the cover and evenly in several stages, tighten the bolts to the specified torque.

18. The rest of the assembly operations are carried out in reverse order.
