Valve springs and valve seals - Replacement



1. Remove the cylinder head cover and the rollers with a yoke.
2. Remove the spark (one per cylinder).
3. Establish the piston of cylinder 1 at TDC compression stroke. Replace the spring and caps in the order of the engine (1 -3-4-2).
4. Secure the valve is supplied with compressed air or a soft flexible rod (photo). If the compressed air is discharged from the cylinder, the head should be removed and repaired.

5. Squeeze the spring and remove crackers (photo).
6. Remove the plate, a spring and a cap.
7. Wrap the valve stem and remove the ribbon bar.
8. Check the condition of the valve stem. Check the bending rod, having turned the valve.
9. Check the freedom of movement of the valve sleeve. When scuffing valve cylinder head must be removed and repaired.
10. Again, fix the valve.
11. Lubricate the valve stem and put the cap.
12. Install the spring wound tight towards the cylinder head, set the dish.
13. Compress the spring and establish crackers.
14. Remove the cylinder rod.
15. Repeat steps for the other valves.
16. Next, the assembly is done in reverse order.
