Replacing brake fluid



Location bleeder brake caliper

Use a wrench to loosen the bleeder

A warning

Old brake fluid has a darker color than the new.


You must have a 1.5 liter fresh brake fluid DOT 4.

The operation to replace the brake fluid is similar to pumping the brakes operation except that the brake fluid to be released from an old brake fluid.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Open the first bleeder valve and pump the brake pedal as long as the old brake fluid out of the master cylinder.
2. Top up the brake fluid to the MAX mark in the tank and pump again until the bleeder valve in the new brake fluid, and then tighten the bleeder valve.
3. Similarly, bleed the brake contours of other wheels (see. Fig. Location bleeder brake caliper and rice. Use a wrench to loosen the bleeder).
4. If the bleeding does not allow the lowering of the level of brake fluid level is below mark MIN. Otherwise, in the hydraulic brake system air can enter.
5. Check the tightening fittings pumping, set them on the dust caps and wipe traces of a brake liquid.
6. Check the brake system when the vehicle is moving at low speed.
