Replacement ATF



PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Replacement ATF should be made on a regular basis, strictly in accordance with the schedule of routine maintenance of the car (see. Section routine maintenance schedule). As the transmission fluid remains hot for a long time after the conclusion of the visit, before proceeding with the procedure, wait until the engine cools (3-4 hours).
  2. Prepare a fresh supply of the required transmission fluid grade, drain capacity suitable volume, wrench and the appropriate size of clean rags / old newspapers.
  3. Drive the car on the overpass / post horizontally on the lift.
  1. Get a sump drain capacity and all necessary equipment. Having placed properly reception container, remove the drain plug. When fully stopped discharge of liquid, wipe the stopper, screw it on the regular place and tighten with demanded effort (24.5 Nm), - do not forget to replace the washer.
  1. Filling fresh ATF is made through the guide tube of the probe, - through a funnel pour ATF until the middle of the operating range of the "cold" scale blade probe (see. Section Checking the oil level), then move the transmission into position "P", cock a lay brake and run engine.
  2. Alternately spending selector AT lever through all positions, return it to position "P". Wait until the ATF has warmed to a temperature of 60 ÷ 80 ?� C, and then check the fluid level on the "hot" scale probe. If necessary, make appropriate adjustment.
  3. During the first few days of operation of the vehicle on a regular basis, try to look under the car, checking the transmission for signs of leaks. Recheck the level of ATF, if necessary, make adjustments.
