Introduction

Cleanliness when working on the fuel system

When working on the fuel system, observe the following rules for ensuring cleanliness.

Thoroughly clean the joints and their surroundings before their separation.

Lay the removed parts on a clean surface and cover them. Use film or paper. Do not use cloth nappies!

Carefully cover the mounting parts or cover them with a turnkey basis, if the repairs will be carried out any time soon.

Just before the assembly remove the spare parts from the packaging. Install only clean parts.

Do not use parts that are stored unpackaged (eg, tool box and so on. N.).

When you open the fuel system, if possible, do not use compressed air. Try not to move the car.
