Removal and installation of final collectors



Proceed to perform the procedure only after the final cooling of the power unit.

REMOVAL

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect the negative wire from the battery.

If installed on the car stereo is equipped with a security code before to disconnect the battery make sure that have a correct combination for audiosystem input in action!

2. Support the rear wheels of a vehicle, a wheel chock, cock a lay brake.
3. Poddomkratte the front of the car and establish it on props. Remove protection crankcase.
4. Before removing the rear collector remove the upper section of the inlet pipeline (see. Section Removal and installation of the inlet pipeline).

5. Remove the manifold thermofilter.

6. Post the power unit from above using a beam or a winch.
7. Working under the car, disconnect the wiring from the oxygen sensor and remove from the car exhaust pipe exhaust system.
8. Remove the screws through the front and rear suspension supports the power unit from the car and remove the crossmember assembly with support bracket (see. Section Check and replacement of support of a suspension bracket of the power unit).

9. Remove the bracket supports the suspension of the power unit on both sides of the engine.

10. Disconnect the rear exhaust manifold tube EGR.

11. Give fixing bolts / nuts and remove manifold with gaskets.

INSTALLATION

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Scrape carbon deposits and traces of the old gasket material from the mating surfaces of the cylinder heads and manifolds.
2. Place the new gasket on the manifold studs.
3. Establish a collector and screw nut is mounted.
4. Moving from the center out, in three or four phases evenly tighten fixture with demanded effort.
5. Install the remaining components is made in the reverse order of their removal.
6. Start the engine and check for any signs of leakage of exhaust gases.
