1. Replacement ATF should be made on a regular basis, in accordance with the schedule of routine maintenance of the car.
2. Prepare a fresh transmission fluid corresponding grades (see. Specifications in the beginning of the chapter).
3. Among other necessary for the implementation of the procedure of tools and materials concern: props for car fixing in the lifted position, hexagonal rod wrench of appropriate size with a long-necked, drain capacity of not less than 7.5 liters and a stock of rags and / or old newspapers.
4. The liquid should merge, as a pre-warmed to normal operating temperature during a short trip. Hot ATF has a high fluidity and better washes sludge and other deposits.  | Working temperaturaATF can reach 180 ?� C! Be careful to work in rubber gloves. |
5. A short trip and warming up ATF to normal operating temperature, park the vehicle on level ground paved, Poddomkratte it and install on props, providing easy access to the drain plug transmission housing.
6. Start a transmission case drain capacity and all necessary equipment. Avoid touching located underneath the car warmed components of the power unit and exhaust system.  | 7.  | 8. Remove the front sump bolts of transmission, and then loosen the rear and lift the pallet with a screwdriver, release the remains of the crankcase AT ATF. 9. Install the new filter removed.  | 10. Carefully smooth out interfaced surfaces of the transmission housing flange and planting his tray completely removing them from the traces of the old gasket material and sealant, wipe the inner surface of the pallet. Do not forget to install the magnets to their former places in the pan, after replacing pads. |
11. Replace the gasket, set the pan on the regular place and secure it with bolts, screwing them in their previous positions and tighten first by hand. In several stages, 1/4 turn at the approach tighten fixture with demanded effort - do not overdo it!
12. Without starting the engine, remove the transmission housing and the probe through the hole in the guide tube pour the required amount of fresh liquid of a demanded grade (see. Specifications). In order to minimize the loss of ATF use a funnel. Pour the liquid in small portions, periodically checking its level on the dipstick (see. Section Check of level ATF automatic transmission). Pauses, allowing the fluid to drain flooded the bottom of the pan.  | The Specifications in the beginning of this chapter, the amount of ATF is a given rotation converter. 13. Start the engine, then slowly spend the selector lever through all positions of the "R" to "L", then return it to the original ("P"), and then cock the parking brake.
