The order of assembly of the engine



PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Before assembling the engine, make sure you have all the necessary parts, materials and tools, which include the following:

a) The standard set of plumbing tools;
b) Torque wrench driven by 1/2-inch;
c) tools for putting the piston rings;
d) Tool for crimping piston rings;
e) Short segments of the fuel hose for putting on studs connecting rod bearing caps;
f) measuring a set of Plasti-gage;
g) Set the probe type blade;
h) Files with a fine tooth;
i) Fresh engine oil;
j) The assembly motor or molybdenum grease;
k) gasket sealant;
l) The sealant for fixing the threaded connections.
2. In order to save time and minimize the amount of problems encountered when assembling the engine in the following order:

Engines SOHC

a) The piston rings;
b) The crankshaft and main bearings;
c) crankshaft rear oil seal;
d) the connecting rod-piston assembly;
e) oil pump maslozabornoy tube (see. Part Engines SOHC);
f) Sump (see. Part Engines SOHC);
g) the cylinder head with camshafts, valve lifters and rocker arms (see. Part Engines SOHC);
h) Gas distribution belt gears (see. Part Engines SOHC);
i) covers the timing belt (see. Part Engines SOHC);
j) The intake manifold and exhaust manifold (see. Part Engines SOHC);
k) cylinder head cover (see. Part Engines SOHC);
l) The back plate of the engine (see. Part Engines SOHC);
m) Flywheel / drive plate (see. Part Engines SOHC).

Engines DOHC

a) The piston rings;
b) The crankshaft and main bearings;
c) crankshaft rear oil seal holder;
d) the connecting rod-piston assembly;
e) oil pump maslozabornoy tube (see. Part Engines DOHC);
f) The cylinder heads (see. Part Engines DOHC);
g) camshafts and valve lifters (see. Part Engines DOHC);
h) Gas distribution chain with asterisks (see. Part Engines DOHC);
i) The front timing cover (see. Part Engines DOHC);
j) of the crankshaft pulley (see. Part Engines DOHC);
k) The aluminum section of the oil pan (see. Part Engines DOHC);
l) Stamped section of the oil pan (see. Part Engines DOHC);
m) Intake manifold and exhaust manifolds (see. Part Engines DOHC);
n) the cylinder head covers (see. Part Engines DOHC);
o) Flywheel / drive plate (see. Part Engines DOHC).
