All models are equipped with MacPherson front suspension design. The upper ends of the uprights fixed in the bodywork pillars at the rear of the mudguards of wheel arches, lower attached to the upper parts of the assembly swivel. Rotary fists through ball joints connected to the outer ends of the suspension control arms. Ball joints are integrated in the controls and in the case of changing the wear assembly with the latter. The front anti-roll bar is standard on all models. Stabilizer bar is attached to the chassis by a pair of clips and is coupled to the control levers by means of special suspension struts.

The rear suspension models 1993 and 1994 Vol. also used pedestal design, which builds on the assembly of shock absorbers with coil springs complete with four transverse and two longitudinal arms. The upper ends of the rack assemblies mounted on the vehicle, lower attached to the holders of the hub assembly. Holders of fixed horizontally through the trailing arm. Rod rear anti-roll bar is attached to the body of the car and two clamps connected to the strut via connecting rods.

On models since 1995 Vol. organized by the rear suspension beam axle, hung assemblies using telescopic shock absorbers with coil springs and trailing arms bracing and transverse torque rods. Through cross-reactive rod freely rotating on the integrated stock management, the bridge is connected to the vehicle chassis.

All models are equipped with rack and pinion steering with hydraulic booster. The assembly of the steering mechanism is located behind the power unit in the lower portion of the rear bulkhead engine compartment and fixed to the lower cross beam. Rack and pinion by a pair of tie rods connected to a swivel-driven wheels of the car. The inner ends of rod ends are equipped with rubber protective covers, condition and reliability of fastening which should be checked periodically.

Hydrostrengthening steering system includes the steering pump, actuated by the belt drive and connecting lines. The liquid level in the tank of the steering pump should also be checked regularly (see chap. Adjustment and routine maintenance).

The steering wheel is mounted on the steering column and equipped by the steering shaft connected to a rack and pinion. Wear components universal joints, rack and pinion steering gear and tips, summed, determines the amount of movement of the steering wheel, which must not go beyond the permitted range.

Steering Wheel Play can be caused by the weakening of fixture of components of a steering drive.

Often in the course of service suspension components and steering gear have to deal with intractable Give fasteners. "From sticking" of fastener elements due to the fact that they are constantly exposed to external influences, in contact with water, dirt, soot and other substances contributing to the development of corrosion. In order to facilitate the procedure of giving such "become attached" fixture it should advance to soak copious amounts of penetrating oil. Stripping open threaded portions of fasteners tight wire brush also helps to alleviate Give rusted nuts. Sometimes, in severe cases, to release the "become attached" bolt / nut, you can use a knockout. Drift rests on the edge of the slot nut / bolt head, then its opposite end are put sharp blows with a hammer. Be careful not to knockout fell, careful not to damage the threads deviated kick. Quite efficient way of warming is also intractable Give fixture and the surrounding surface of the component torch blowtorch or gas burner, although the drafters of the Guidelines and is not recommended unless absolutely need to resort to such technology in view of its potential dangers associated with the possibility of fire and risk of burns. To increase the torque when you release fasteners are different kinds of extensions, the nozzle and pipe collars on them. However, remember that you should not use this type of amplifying device equipped complete with "ratchet" drive - too great a risk of failure of the ratchet mechanism. Sometimes the "become attached" fixture begins to succumb after it is pre-tightened slightly clockwise. All fasteners, release of which required the use of extraordinary measures during assembly must be replaced!

After carefully check the condition of giving fasteners and, if necessary, replace it produce the elements of the same size. When assembling tighten the fastener elements of the suspension components and steering strictly demanded effort.

In no case do not try straightening deformed suspension components and steering - replace defective parts with new ones!

Because the maintenance procedures are performed under suspension components car, you should take care of the possibilities of lifting the vehicle and secure it in the raised position (jack and prepare reliable backups).

In no case did not perform any work underneath the car, secured in the raised position by means of a jack!
