Wheels and tires - general information

Wheels of all described in this manual car models are equipped with radial tires with a metric size of the glass cloth or steel cord. Installation on the vehicle other sizes could affect its handling and comfort of travel.

In no case do not install on the same axle of the car tires of different design!

It is recommended to replace the tires on both wheels of one axis at a time. If you are replacing only one wheel, make sure that the replacement tire is matched by size steam. It is extremely important in terms of drivability to maintain the required pressure in the tires. Regularly, at least once a month, check the tire inflation pressure (see chap. Adjustment and routine maintenance). Also check the pressure before every long trip.

Wheels must be replaced in the event of deformation, breach of planting density on these tubeless tires, excessive corrosion damage, violation of vertical symmetry, design to oval bolt holes, and in the case of permanent spontaneous release fastening nuts. Not recommended reconditioning damaged discs by welding or riveting.

Warp drive is usually associated with collisions on curbs while parking inaccurate. It is unacceptable to continue to operate a motor vehicle with bent wheels - wheel should be repaired tire shop. To check the status Poddomkratte drive the car and establish it on props. Visually inspect the disc for cracks or signs of strain.

An important factor in determining the parameters of motion and deceleration of a vehicle, a wheel balancing assembly. Violation of this option can significantly reduce the handling of the vehicle, not to mention the noticeable reduction of the service life of tires. Every time after replacing the tire wheel balancing, subject to the conditions of tire shops.
