Removal and installation of assemblage of the rear hub with wheel bearing



PERFORMANCE ORDER

Remember that generated in the process of brake dust can contain extremely harmful to human health asbestos. In no case do not blow off the dust with compressed air and do not inhale it - serving mechanisms wear protective mask or respirator. In no case do not use for cleaning brake components gasoline or petroleum-based solvents, - use only genuine cleaners or methyl alcohol!

1. Loosen the wheel nuts. Poddomkratte back of the car and establish it on props. Remove the wheels.
2. Remove the brake drum / caliper disc (see chap. Brake System).

3. Remove the protective cap of the wheel bearing.

4. Remove the cotter pin.

5. Give the hub nut, remove the washer.

6. Remove the hub assembly with the bearing pins of the rear axle.

7. Before installing the components in place working surface axle spindle bearing should be lubricated with grease.

8. Install in the reverse order. Tighten the hub nut to the required torque and secure it with a new cotter pin. Tighten with demanded effort bolts brake caliper (see chap. Brake System).
9. Replace the wheel, lower the car on the earth and tighten wheel nuts with demanded effort (see chap. Adjustment and routine maintenance).
