Replacement of protective covers of the steering mechanism assembly



PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Loosen the nuts on the wheel. Poddomkratte the front of the car and establish it on props. Remove the wheel.
2. Remove the steering rod from the rod tip and the lock nut (see. Section Removal and installation of tips of steering drafts).
3. Gripping pliers, remove the retaining tabs clamps the outer ends of protective covers rack and pinion housing. Wire fixing bandages outer ends of the covers should snack side cutters.

4. Before installing a new cover wrap sliced tie rod end with tape not to accidentally damage the small sponge cover when planting it in the draft.
5. Place the new cover for traction and pull it over the crater of the steering mechanism, having tracked correctness of landing sealing jaws in the receiving groove. Secure the cover by putting the two turns of the wire belt.
6. Remove the adhesive tape and screw into place the tie rod end (see. Section Removal and installation of tips of steering drafts).
7. Replace the wheel. Lower the car to the ground and tighten the wheel nuts to the required torque (see. Specifications to the Head of Adjustment and routine maintenance).
