Removal and installation of components of the rear suspension models from 1995 MY.



PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Loosen the wheel nuts. Poddomkratte back of the car and establish it on props. Remove the rear wheels.
2. On models equipped with ABS, remove the gauge of turns of the rear wheels. Remove the locking screws and release the sensor harnesses from the support brackets.
3. Disconnect the drive cables, and remove the parking brake calipers and brake disc (see chap. Brake System). Attach the slides to the rods helical springs.
4. If the rear axle must be replaced, remove the hub assembly with the wheel bearing (see. Section Removal and installation of assemblage of the rear hub with wheel bearing).
5. Poddomkratte rear axle jack under the middle one, or two at the ends.
6. Otboltite from the lower ends of the bridge shock absorbers (see. Section Removal, check of a condition and installation of the rear suspension struts).

7. Remove transverse torque rods from the car chassis.

8. Give nuts and remove the axle bolts trailing arm suspension. With the help of an assistant gently remove the rear axle assembly with the torque arms from under the car.

9. Assess the jet bar bushings, rod and longitudinal control arms. Defective components replace.
10. Cross-reactive control rod from the rod can be removed from the assembly of the rear axle by releasing the appropriate fasteners. When installing the components in place, make sure that the bar appeared deployed marking the up-arrow, the control rod bushing facing the side with the smaller diameter hole in the bar.

INSTALLATION

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Components made in the reverse order of their removal. Track, that all fixture has been tightened with demanded effort.

The final tightening of the mounting hardware and reactive rod should be made after the suspension elements will be displayed in the normal operating height - use a jack. Tightening the screws axle trailing arm bolts must be made at the unloaded suspension (in nizhem position components).

2. Efforts of a tightening threaded fasteners brake components are listed in the Specifications to the Head Brake system.
3. Replace the wheel, lower the car on the earth and tighten wheel nuts with demanded effort (see chap. Adjustment and routine maintenance).
