Speed control system (Tempostat) - the general data and check of serviceability of functioning
Tempostat automatically selected to maintain a cruising speed of the vehicle. Electric servomotor Tempostat located in the engine compartment and the cable is connected to the gas pedal. Among the other major components of the system include the gauge-switch of stoplights, ECU Tempostat, control switches and the vehicle speed sensor. Check the individual functions of the system requires the use of special diagnostic equipment, and its implementation is beyond the qualification of the average mechanic-fan. Below is a description of the procedures only the most common tests that identify the most common causes of failure Tempostat.
Locate the fuse Tempostat and check its condition (see. Section Fuses and fuses - general information).
Ask the assistant to squeeze out a few times a pedal of a foot brake - operation responds to the pressing of the pedal sensors, brake light switch should lead to a shutdown Tempostat.
