Notes on connection diagrams

Due to space limitations included in this manual wiring diagrams of electrical systems of all the models under consideration is not possible. For this reason, only the following are the most typical schemes allowing in the maximum degree of detail to understand the basic principle of operation of electrical systems and on-board power consumers.

Privzdennye below wiring diagrams drawn on the schematic principle, when the components of each circuit are connected to each other on the shortest path without form around the wiring located on the way of its following components and harnesses.

At Nissan vehicles used single-wire circuit of the electrical appliances. With a plus of power supplies consumers connected to the wire, and with minus - through a body of the car or on the ground. This method reduces the number of wires and simplify their installation. Connection with mass minus power supplies reduces electrochemical corrosion of metal parts of the body. In some cases, direct connection to the electric consumer with weight is not enough, and the user is connected to the weight of an additional wire is usually brown.

Power supply to the majority of consumers supplied through the ignition switch. Circuits supplying the units of electrical work that may be required in all circumstances, always connected to the battery, regardless of the position of the ignition key.

To connect the wires used electric sockets with flat contacts.

For normal power consumer circuit must be closed, as otherwise it will present an electric current, for example, if a wiper motor positive voltage is applied, it will not work as long as its electrical circuit is not connected to the ground. The electrical circuit can be connected switches, relays, fuses, measuring instruments, motors and other electrical consumers. To properly connect electricity consumers contacts of electric sockets have corresponding labeling. The connection to the weight of the car is carried out directly or through the body of the consumer power or an additional wire.

Before servicing electrical components of the board, in order to avoid electric shock or fire due to accidental short-circuit, disconnect the negative cable from the battery. Regularly check the condition of wiring harness and tightened them in intermediate clamps, collars and trim. Make sure that the wire insulation, do not wipe in contact with the next door on the wiring components.

Considered in this manual car models are equipped with additional safety (SRS). Before proceeding with any work near the airbag unit, steering column and instrument panel, disconnect SRS to avoid injury at its casual operation (see. Section Airbags - general information). Wiring of chain SRS is easy for distinguishing on yellow color of isolation.

If installed on the car stereo is equipped with a security code before to disconnect the battery make sure that have a correct combination for audiosystem input in action!

Contact 30. On this contact is always a positive voltage of the battery. The wires connected to this contact, have red or red with a strip of color.

Contact 31. Contact is connected to the vehicle earth wire brown.

Contact 15. On this contact positive voltage is applied after the ignition. The wires connected to this contact, have green or green with a strip of color.

Contact H. on contact voltage is applied after the ignition, but when the starter voltage is switched off. This makes it possible when starting the engine to turn off unnecessary at this moment electricity consumers. Beam headlamps and are powered by the contact, so the included headlight and turned off the ignition, it automatically switches on parking lights.

Cable colors are denoted by Latin letters.

If designated color wire has a few letters, separated by a /, the left group of letters indicating the main wire color and the right - the color of the strip.

In the diagram, and all electrical switches are shown in a neutral position.
