The drive of the top hatch - the general data and check of serviceability of functioning

The drive of the top hatch cover is carried out by a single electric motor, located under the roof console. Motor protection is provided by circuit included in the circuit breaker. Under the hatch is further provided a sliding sun screen.

The switches control the operation of the electric drive of the top hatch cover (slope and offset) at squeezing provide grounding of the drive motor. Power is supplied to the motor from the special relays. With the ignition on (do not start the engine) Check the operation of the drive hatch provided in all modes.

Listen to the sounds made by running an electric motor.

If the motor is working properly at the hearing, but the manhole cover is not moved, you should check the status of rods and cables of the drive mechanism.

If the motor is not heard, check the fuse number 12 to 7.5 and in the cabin assembly block and the fuse F 30 A in the assembly block located in the engine compartment of the car.

If fuses in the order lower assembly mounted to the ceiling fixture in her control panel. Turn on the ignition and check for voltage yellow-red wire of the electric motor. If the voltage is the case, check the power supply to the switch. Rate the quality of the grounding switch assembly. If the wiring in the order, but the voltage across the switch is still missing, replace the switch. If the power is not supplied to the motor, check the operation of the respective relays, as well as the status of the connection on the circuit wiring between the relay and the motor.

Relays electric cover of the top hatch located under the front driver's door sill trim, next to the fuel pump relay.

If there is no voltage on the switch, disconnect the wiring harness and check for proper assembly of the conductivity distribution in different positions. Replace the faulty switch.

If the switch is in order, reconnect the wiring. Find the wire from the switch to mass and, without shutting down the drive, his shunt jumper wire. If grounding of the drive begins to function properly, restore the quality of contact connections of the corresponding section of the circuit.

If necessary, the top hatch cover can be closed manually by rotating the shaft of the drive motor by means of a suitable spanner (shaft should rotate clockwise). When factory setting hatch corresponding key is standard on the car.
